Trying to settle in a inhabited land Vs. an uninhabited land is very different. For one, when its inhabited you basically know what you are doing, what you can and cannot grow this crop or that, how the people act and what religion. But when it comes to and uninhabited land you don't know none of that.
inhabited land is when your more controlled. like people tell you what to worship what to farm what crops to grow. and uninhabited is when you just kinda do more what you wanna do.
In and inhabited land you kinda have an idea of what your going to do to get it all going but in an uninhabited land you think you know but you really dont. the advantages of inhabited land is that your land will probably run alot smoother but uninhabited land probably wont.
Settling in an inhabited land would be hard because there are already people there and you would have to fight them to get the land. An uninhabited land wouldn't be as hard because you wouldn't have to fight for the land.
If you are trying to settle uninhabited land you can decide how you want your colony to be designed and how it is run. In inhabited land some rules and other guidelines are already set up so you don't have as much say in how things are.
When one settles in inhabited land they have to start everything from scratch. They have to develp ways of living, growing crops and starting trade. Religion would be started new in an unhabited land. When one settles in a land that is habited they have choices because the land is developed, religion is established and most likey some trade is taking place.
Because an inhabited land is already ... INHABITED. you know how the flow of things go in that area. and uninhabited you do not know a thing and have to make do with whatcha got!
